Средний счет за мобильную связь в России превысил 1,1 тыс. рублей в месяц

Operators attribute tariff increases to economic reasons

Mobile communication costs are rising in Russia: in the first half of 2025, the average subscriber bill exceeded 1.1 thousand rubles, which is 7–13% higher than last year's figure, according to data from SberSpasibo, SberMobile, and Telecom Daily analysts.

The main reasons for the tariff increase, according to operators, are the rising cost of equipment, electricity and network operation costs, as well as the increased consumption of mobile Internet due to new services and "heavy" content.

According to YuMoney, the average bill for communication services increased by 13% year-on-year in the first half of the year.

The FAS and the Ministry of Digital Development are monitoring the justification for tariff increases: the subscription fee for communication services in Russia remains one of the lowest in the world, and any changes must be economically justified.

Price growth is important for users because it directly affects the family budget, and for the market, it encourages operators to invest in the development of networks and new services, supporting the quality of communication and the introduction of modern technologies.
