The company "Promtekh" presented a new model "Niva Taiga" (based on Lada Niva Legend) at a test drive at NAMI. The car received a number of improvements, including reinforced side members and shock absorbers, as well as increased ground clearance.
The "Niva Taiga" has a modified rear axle, a stabilizer has been added, an electric drive for the trunk lock and roof rails. The suspension has been raised by 30 mm, and the seats are upholstered with a material that is easy to clean.
The "Taiga Profi" model is designed for more serious off-road conditions. It has an additional suspension lift of 50 mm, a domestic winch with a force of 4500 kg and an external spare wheel mount. According to "Promtekh", "Taiga Profi" surpasses even the "Niva Bronto" in terms of cross-country ability.
Despite the improvements, the engine remained the same: 1.7-liter with a power of 83 hp. The gearbox, transfer case and clutch are also standard.
The basic version of "Niva Taiga" costs 1.45 million rubles, and "Taiga Profi" - 1.8 million rubles.
