At the "Archipelago 2025" forum in Skolkovo, the "Argus" platform with the "HERMES 2.0" ground control station was demonstrated, allowing the operator to deploy a group of drones to the operation area, leave them in standby mode, and launch a group attack upon receiving a combat mission.
The "HERMES 2.0" GCS is made in a compact form factor and contains a built-in transmitter for integration with "loitering drones." The system enables the unification of multiple drones into a swarm with the possibility of centralized control.
The devices are put into hibernation mode with minimal power consumption and remain ready for reactivation on the operator's command for several days; the exact waiting time is not disclosed.
Communication works in several frequency ranges, which increases resistance to electronic warfare and interference. The control range of reconnaissance UAVs of the aircraft type is up to 100 km, and for quadcopters — up to 28 km.
