В МВД рассказали, как у россиян под видом налоговых вычетов крадут пароли

Fraudsters offer to return money for paying tax and demand codes from SMS

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia warned about a new scheme of fraud with authorization codes on online services.

Attackers call citizens on behalf of employees of the tax or social services, offering to issue a legal tax deduction, for example, 14 thousand rubles for training. To do this, they ask to name the code from the SMS.

After receiving the code, fraudsters call on behalf of law enforcement agencies and warn about the alleged hacking and financing of prohibited organizations. Most often, Russians aged 25–35 become victims.

The department recommended receiving information about tax deductions only through the official website of the Federal Tax Service, as well as personally contacting the tax inspectorate or the MFC.
