Mobile internet in Sevastopol, Crimea and other regions of southern Russia may be disabled indefinitely due to security measures. This was announced by the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
Razvozhaev recommended that residents prepare for possible connection interruptions, warn loved ones in advance about the unavailability of messengers and social networks, and use voice communication and SMS. He also advised to have a supply of cash, save offline maps and taxi service numbers.
Avoid discussing communication and security issues on internet platforms.
Crimean mobile operators "Volna" and "Miranda" announced plans to introduce support measures for their subscribers in the context of forced rolling restrictions on mobile internet. The operator "Miranda-media" announced the introduction of discounts on subscription fees, as well as an increase in SMS packages within the framework of existing tariff plans for residents of Crimea and Sevastopol.
In the near future, for the period of restrictions, "Volna" will provide its customers with the opportunity to send free SMS, as well as packages of additional minutes for calls to numbers in the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and the Krasnodar Territory.
These measures are aimed at mitigating the consequences of communication restrictions and supporting users who may face difficulties in accessing mobile internet. Operators strive to provide their customers with the necessary services and support them in the current situation.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Krasnodar is for the second day experiencing the absence of mobile internet
