The number of users regularly visiting dating services continues to decline. In the first half of 2025, the largest drop in monthly attendance was recorded for «Drug vokrug», the leading dating application in Russia. Its audience decreased by 16.4%, amounting to 1.96 million people.
The «Photostrana» dating service reduced its monthly active audience by 9.4% to 1.2 million users, taking 4th place. Beboo lost 13.5% of users (741 thousand) and moved from 5th to 6th place. Fifth place was taken by Loveplanet with an audience growth of 4.9% to 808.5 thousand users. The statistics do not include «VK dating» and «OK dating», whose audience increased due to functionality, algorithms and advertising.
Users of popular dating sites have been losing audience for several years. The main reason for this decline, according to experts, is the dissatisfaction of women and the lack of opportunity to find partners abroad, which encourages them to look for dates on foreign resources.
