Mobile internet outages have been observed in Krasnodar for the second day. The head of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, explained that the reason was security measures in several municipalities. The situation affected the statistics: according to "Sboy.rf," on August 8, the Krasnodar Territory was in first place in terms of the number of complaints about the lack of internet, recording about 1.1 thousand appeals from users of various telecom operators in just three hours. Operators MTS, Beeline, and Tele2 simply stopped providing services.
It's strange that wired internet is working, albeit with problems, but mobile internet is completely down.
Among other things, network problems have created additional difficulties for the local population. People have been cut off from delivery and taxi services. A forced solution was to visit stores and cafes offering free Wi-Fi, but this entails additional costs, as you still need to get to such establishments. The situation is aggravated by the fact that even when connected to the internet, it is not so easy to call a taxi, as drivers massively ignore orders.
Operators are obliged to return all payments, since there is no service in fact. There is no internet, but you hang in there.
The region is under an air raid alert. As a result, the airports of Gelendzhik and Sochi have temporarily suspended their work. Sirens were activated in the Crimean region, Anapa, and Sirius. In Sochi, tourists were evacuated from the beach areas, and hotels provided them with shelter. It is also reported that Abkhazia has temporarily closed checkpoints on the border with the Russian Federation.
