The Kalashnikov concern (part of Rostec) has begun supplying an upgraded Quasimachta drone capable of staying in the air for 20 days, according to Leonid Rokeah, the company's director of drone exports.
According to him, the drone has demonstrated the ability to stay in the air for up to 500 hours, but direct combat work lasts about 24 hours.
That is, it hung, was lowered, checked that everything was in order, the diesel generator was replaced. The drone is always active, its tasks include protecting the perimeter or object. Information and power are transmitted through a wire.
Rokea clarified that the "Quasimachta" is a copter-type aircraft and is designed for long-term operation of electronic equipment, transmitting data to the observation post in real time in the infrared and optical ranges.
