Kalashnikov Creates "Quasimachta" Military Drone Capable of Staying Airborne for Up to 20 Days

The Kalashnikov Group (part of Rostec) has begun deliveries of the modernized Quasimachta drone, capable of staying in the air for 20 days, according to Leonid Rokeah, the company's director for drone exports.

According to him, the drone has demonstrated the ability to stay in the air for up to 500 hours, but direct combat work lasts about 24 hours.

That is, it hung, was lowered, checked that everything was in order, the diesel generator was replaced. The drone is always active, its tasks include guarding the perimeter or object. Information and power are transmitted through a wire.

Rokea clarified that "Quasimachta" is a copter-type aircraft and is designed for long-term operation of electronic equipment, transmitting data to the observation post in real time in the infrared and optical ranges.
