Court Dismisses Case Against Il-114-300 Manufacturer for 2.6 Billion Rubles

"Ilyushin" Demanded Money from Four Insurance Companies

The Moscow Arbitration Court terminated proceedings on August 8 in the lawsuit filed by PJSC "Ilyushin Aviation Complex named after S.V. Ilyushin" (PJSC "Il", part of the Rostec United Aircraft Corporation) against four insurance companies for the amount of 2.6 billion rubles. Materials with details of the case consideration were not published, and the proceedings were conducted in closed session.

"Ilyushin" filed the lawsuit in October 2024, with SPAO "Ingosstrakh", SAO "VSK", JSC "SOGAZ" and LLC IC "NSG" acting as defendants in the case.

The Ministry of Defense, JSC "RNPK", the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and JSC "ODK" were involved in the court as third parties. The plaintiff petitioned for the case to be heard in a closed session "in order to prevent the disclosure of trade secrets in the field of defense", and the request was granted.

"Ilyushin" isthe manufacturer of Il-114-300 aircraft, and work on their modernization was completed in 2023.
