Manufacturer of the latest Il-96-400M aircraft sued for 130 million rubles

Voronezh "Atomsbyt" filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court against the VASO plant

Voronezh energy supplier Atomsbyt has filed two lawsuits with the Voronezh Region Arbitration Court against the Voronezh Aircraft Production Association (VASO, part of PJSC Il of the Rostec State Corporation) with total claims of 131.6 million rubles.

Court hearings will be held in September and October 8.

The first application concerns a debt of 96.9 million rubles and a penalty of 5.3 million rubles. The second lawsuit relates to a debt under an electricity supply agreement for 28.5 million rubles for May 2025, as well as a penalty of 436.9 thousand rubles.

VASO is engaged in the modernization, production, after-sales and technical maintenance of Il-96 family aircraft, including the latest Il-96-400M modification.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec was instructed to reduce the cost of the MS-21 and SJ-100, advantages over Boeing and Airbus are needed.
