Russian military came up with a new tactic for Geran and Gerbera strike drones called "Wolf Pack". Drones operate from different directions, gathering before the attack.
One of the Geran drones acts as a leader and flies higher than the rest. If the "leading" Geran is destroyed, another one immediately rises in automatic mode instead.
In addition, before the start of a combined attack, false plywood Gerbera drones are often launched. They are much cheaper and take the brunt of the air defense. This tactic leads to a very high percentage of hitting targets.
The Gerbera simulator drone is equipped with a modem and a camera to transmit video to the operator, but if necessary, it can also be used as a strike drone.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the rate of delivery of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces has increased.
