Russian operators will be cautious about proposals to purchase the "Ansat" helicopter manufactured by the Kazan Helicopter Plant (KVZ), according to Flarit Mavletkulov, General Director of the "Aviation of Kolyma" airline.
According to him, without additional fuel tanks, the "Ansat" is worthless today. The guaranteed flight range with them is 550 km, without them it is 400 km. Mavletkulov stated that KVZ should first of all solve the problems with warranty service.
On some issues, you have to reach out almost to the holding's CEO. And the helicopter is idle in Chukotka at this time.
Former General Director of KVZ, Alexander Lavrentiev, supported "Ansat" and stated that the plant "did a great job".
The assigned resource of 74 hours is normal to get the machine up, and then it's a question for the CEO of the plant.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that "Ansat" first took to the sky with domestic VK-650V engines.
