Russian operators will be cautious about proposals to purchase the "Ansat" helicopter manufactured by Kazan Helicopter Plant (KVZ), according to Flarit Mavletkulov, General Director of the "Aviation of Kolyma" airline.
According to him, today, without additional fuel tanks, the "Ansat" is not valuable. The guaranteed flight range with them is 550 km, without them - 400 km. Mavletkulov stated that KVZ should first of all solve the problems with warranty service.
On some issues, you have to go almost to the CEO of the holding. And the helicopter is idle in Chukotka at this time.
Former General Director of KVZ, Alexander Lavrentiev, supported "Ansat" and stated that the plant "did a great job".
The assigned resource of 74 hours is normal to get the machine up, and then it's a question for the General Director of the plant.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "Ansat" first took to the sky with domestic VK-650V engines.
