Russian kamikaze drones "Geran-2" have been improved, adding Soviet-designed PTM-3 magnetic cassette mines to the drones.
PTM-3 mines are designed to disable tracked and wheeled vehicles by hitting the bottom or destroying their chassis with a shaped charge when the combat vehicle runs over or is above the ammunition.
PTM-3s are also equipped with a self-destruction mechanism and a non-contact magnetic fuse. These munitions react to changes in the electromagnetic field around them.
Mines are strictly forbidden to be moved or lifted; they can only be neutralized by physical destruction on the spot.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the rate of delivery of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces has increased.
