Russia could deploy the "Oreshnik" missile system abroad to ensure the security of its allies and strengthen its influence, according to military expert Alexander Stepanov.
In his opinion, Venezuela and Cuba would be the best locations for deployment.
This would strengthen Russia's global position and send a clear signal to geopolitical opponents.
Stepanov also emphasized that once serial production begins, Russia will be able to produce dozens of these weapons annually, covering key areas and tasks.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that footage of tests of the laser air defense system project "Posokh" has appeared.
