Another video of testing the laser air defense system of the "Peresvet" project, designed to combat drones, has been published online.
During the tests, the laser of the "Peresvet" system burned through a 10mm steel plate at a distance of 100 meters. Prior to this, it destroyed a drone engine in the same way at a distance of 500 meters.
The main tests of the prototype of the first laser complex will be conducted by the developers at the end of August. During these tests, the system will "work" on targets simulating the Ukrainian long-range Lyutyi aircraft-type UAV. The system should shoot down targets at a distance of up to 1.5 km.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the latest R-77M missiles with a range of 190 km have entered service with Su-35S fighters.
