The Uralvagonzavod concern (UVZ, part of Rostec) has increased the production of new T-90M "Proryv" tanks to 300 units per year, the Telegram channel "Military Informant" reported, citing estimates by Western experts.
It is estimated that UVZ produced 60-70 units of T-90M in 2022, but in 2023 production increased to 140-180 tanks.
In 2024, volumes could reach 250-300 vehicles. At the same time, all current T-90Ms are manufactured from scratch, including the production of hulls.
The "Technosphere Russia" publication added that the production of promising T-14 "Armata" tanks, if carried out at UVZ, is in single units.
In addition, the deep modernization of the T-80 to the T-80BVM variant in Omsk, the T-72 to the T-72B3M, as well as a number of works on other previously produced tanks, continues.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the latest R-77M missiles with a range of 190 km have entered service with Su-35S fighters.
