The Arkhangelsk branch of Zvezdochka, known as Krasnaya Kuznitsa Shipyard within the USC, has successfully completed the launching of the vessel after repair work. The dry cargo ship Yamal Krechet has left the floating dock M-32.
The vessel was placed for repairs in dock PD M-32 on June 26. During the work, the replacement of external plating sheets and components of the hull, as well as the installation of additional stiffening ribs according to the customer's drawings, were carried out. Additionally, bottom-and-side fittings were repaired, the hull was cleaned and painted, and the anchor chains were repaired and painted.
Yamal Krechet is a multi-purpose dry cargo ship that came off the stocks of the German shipyard in Flensburg in 2000. Its design includes five cargo compartments, the total volume of which reaches 25,000 cubic meters. The ship can carry up to 20,000 tons of various cargoes or 754 standard containers.
