The Arkhangelsk branch of "Zvezdochka", known as SRZ "Krasnaya Kuznitsa" as part of USC, has successfully completed the launching of the ship after repair work. The dry cargo ship "Yamal Krechet" left the floating dock M-32.
The ship was put into dock PD M-32 for repairs on June 26. During the work, external plating sheets and component parts of the hull were replaced, and additional stiffeners were installed according to the customer's drawings. Additionally, bottom-and-side fittings were repaired, the hull was cleaned and painted, and anchor chains were repaired and painted.
"Yamal Krechet" is a multi-purpose dry cargo ship that was launched from the stocks of a German shipyard in Flensburg in 2000. Its design includes five cargo compartments with a total volume of 25,000 cubic meters. The ship can carry up to 20,000 tons of various cargoes or 754 standard containers.
