Roscosmos to Start Selling Spacesuits with Cosmonaut Autographs to Support Students and Schoolchildren

The proceeds will be used for grants and trips for children to Olympiads

Roscosmos plans to sell spacesuits with cosmonaut autographs. The proceeds from sales will go to funding grants for students and trips for schoolchildren to Olympiads, according to Dmitry Bakanov, the corporation's CEO, in an interview with RBC.

The demand for such items has proven to be high.

We are being asked: can we have the glove of that cosmonaut who was in orbit, can we have his spacesuit with an autograph. It turned out that there is significant demand for this.
Dmitry Bakanov, head of Roscosmos

The program to support education through the sale of space artifacts is a new step for Roscosmos. Previously, the corporation has already participated in educational initiatives, but this format is being used for the first time.
