Вкалывают роботы, а не человек: каждый четвёртый студент в России использует нейросети на экзаменах

Most Students Consider AI an Acceptable Tool for Studying

One in four students in Russia has used neural networks when taking exams, according to a study by MWS AI (part of MTS).

According to the survey, 79% of students consider the use of artificial intelligence acceptable in exams and in the preparation of written work. Most perceive neural networks as an everyday tool to simplify the learning process: searching for information, writing texts, and systematizing complex material.

At the same time, only 25% of respondents admitted that they used AI directly during the exam. Most often, students resort to the help of neural networks when preparing for classes and working with written assignments. Every second respondent noted that they turn to AI when doing homework and analyzing complex topics.

The most popular platform among students turned out to be ChatGPT, which is more than twice as popular as its closest competitor, DeepSeek.

Only 4% of respondents have a deep understanding of the structure and logic of neural networks. Another 44% have basic knowledge in this area.

Dmitry Markov, Managing Director of MTS AI, noted that neural networks have already become part of the educational environment. In his opinion, instead of bans, universities should learn to build responsible and effective interaction between students and AI.
