A detachment of Pacific Fleet ships, consisting of the corvettes "Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy", has completed a business call at the Indian port of Visakhapatnam and continued to perform tasks in the Asia-Pacific region. This was reported by the fleet's press service. The detachment departed from Vladivostok on February 12. During the voyage, the corvettes have already made friendly visits to the ports of Malaysia and Myanmar — Visakhapatnam became the third stop on the route.

Corvettes "Sovershennyy" and "Rezkiy" of Project 20380: characteristics

Both ships belong to Project 20380 — a series of multi-purpose corvettes developed by the Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau in St. Petersburg. The corvettes are designed for operations in the near sea zone: engaging surface ships and submarines, supporting amphibious operations, and providing air defense for the formation.
