AvtoVAZ has shared interesting details about the features of the new Lada Iskra car.
A key feature is the seat belt reminder system, which works not only for the front but also for the rear passengers. The on-board computer screen displays information about who is violating the safety rules.
Another useful feature is the low windshield washer fluid sensor, which helps to avoid unpleasant situations on the road. The front power windows are equipped with an automatic mode with an anti-pinch option, and the media system screen does not glare even in bright sunlight.
Lada Iskra also stands out for its high passive safety due to the use of high-strength steels, which make up 52% of the body structure. An innovation is also the removable radiator frame crossmember. This facilitates the installation of units in the engine compartment and simplifies maintenance work, as well as the replacement of parts in the event of a low-speed collision.
The basic package includes a three-year subscription to the Lada Connect system. This system provides the owner with information about the car's condition, its location, trip statistics, and driving dynamics directly on a smartphone. It also pre-calculates the route to the car and reports the amount of gasoline and range, making the use of the car more convenient and safer.
