State Duma deputies have proposed creating a federal photo bank on the "Gosuslugi" platform to search for lost pets. They appealed to the Minister of Digital Development, Maksut Shadaev.
It is planned that such a photo bank will become a centralized platform where users can post photos of their missing pets. The system will be available not only to citizens, but also to veterinary clinics and shelters. They will be able to upload photos of found animals.
To improve efficiency, it is planned to use artificial intelligence. It will compare photos of found animals with a database of missing animals and automatically notify owners of matches.
The authors of the initiative are confident that such a system will speed up the process of returning pets home and increase the responsibility of owners.
