Russian kamikaze drones «Geranium» have expanded their combat capabilities. Drones of this type began to perform complex maneuvers, evading interceptors, said journalist Alexander Kots.
Thanks to the new characteristics of «Geraniums», the effectiveness of air defense has significantly decreased. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not comment on this data.
«Geraniums» in Russia are produced in thousands every month. The production schedule has been increased nine times. Drones are produced at the world's largest plant for the creation of strike drones.
Military expert Alexander Mikhailov noted that Russia is capable of reaching production rates of «Geraniums» up to 500 pieces daily. Production lines need to be expanded, because drones have fully proven their effectiveness.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the cruiser «Admiral Nakhimov» with «Caliber», «Zircon» and «Onyx» missiles has completed repairs.
