Russia is producing thousands of Geran kamikaze drones, and the initial production plan has now increased ninefold. This was announced by Timur Shagivaleev, General Director of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
This is the largest plant in the world for the production of strike drones and the most secret. At one time, there was a plan to produce several thousand Gerans, but now we produce nine times more than planned.
The head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis, Alexander Mikhailov, noted that Russia is capable of reaching a production level of up to 500 Gerans per day. Production lines need to be expanded because drones have fully proven their effectiveness.
Russia has also developed new Geran-3 kamikaze drones with a jet engine. The new product is equipped with a compact turbofan engine, allowing the aircraft to reach speeds of up to 600 km/h during flight to the target, and up to 800 km/h when diving. This speed is significantly higher than that which the Geran-2 is capable of developing - up to 170 km/h.
Earlier www1.ru reported that T-80BVM tanks stopped "flying": they began to be used in a new way.
