UAZ has completed the preparation of production lines for the release of the promising Sollers ST9 pickup truck. The model has common roots with the popular Toyota Hilux, and its frame and front suspension are unified with the Land Cruiser.
Production of the Sollers ST9 will begin in the third quarter of 2025. The pickup truck will be equipped with a 2-liter gasoline turbo engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive and a ground clearance of 210 mm will ensure high cross-country ability. The dimensions of the car are 5.3 meters in length and 2 meters in width, and the dimensions of the cargo compartment are 1520 x 1590 x 470 mm. Load capacity is up to 1 ton.
The interior design of the Sollers ST9 includes a leather interior with a multimedia system, a 10.4-inch screen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Inside, there is also a virtual instrument panel, dual-zone climate control and electric seat adjustment. Passenger safety is ensured by front and side airbags, curtain airbags and all-round cameras.
The engine for the SUV based on this pickup truck will also be assembled in Russia, while its power will be reduced to 200 hp from 224 hp on the Chinese source.
