The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) remains a deeply unprofitable structure, despite the profit at the end of last year, said Andrey Kostin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of USC.
According to him, the main problem lies in old contracts, which still generate losses for the company.
A large financial hole, we are gradually closing it. Last year, a profit was indeed made. This year will be more difficult, because there are loans at high rates. But we would still very much like to reach break-even.
