A unique show called "Vysotsky. Height," where the legendary Soviet bard Vladimir Vysotsky will appear as a digital avatar, will take place at the Live Arena concert hall in Moscow in mid-October. The project was supported by the bard's family, who gave their approval for its implementation.
The development team created a digital double by studying archival records, photographs, and video materials. Vysotsky's close relatives, including his son Nikita, actively participated in this process. The result is the world's first full-fledged avatar of a historical figure of this magnitude.
During the show, Vysotsky's songs will be performed in new arrangements for jazz and symphony orchestras. Digital avatars of modern performers such as Leonid Agutin, Polina Gagarina, Sergey Shnurov, and Grigory Leps will also appear on stage.
The show's general producer, Alexander Mamonov, noted that the project was not commercial. Its goal is to give fans the opportunity to meet Vysotsky's work again and create a cultural bridge between generations. Thanks to modern technologies, viewers will be able to interact in a new way with the legacy of the artist, who remains an important part of our cultural code.
