Russia has moved ahead in the arms race thanks to its technological advantages, according to the Chinese platform Baijiahao.
According to them, the key role was played by the Tu-160 strategic bombers, the fifth-generation Su-57 fighters, the Project 885 Yasen multi-purpose nuclear submarines, and the advanced T-14 Armata tanks.
Journalists noted that the Tu-160 is the main means of strategic deterrence. One combat aircraft can carry up to 45 tons of ammunition, including 12 cruise missiles, remaining the fastest and heaviest bomber in the world.
The Su-57 is described as a multi-functional fifth-generation fighter developed on the basis of the Su-27. The combat vehicle features a powerful sensor system, low visibility, and high maneuverability.
The Project 885 Yasen submarines are named the most technologically advanced of the mass-produced nuclear submarines. They have a deep immersion zone, low noise level, vertical launchers for cruise missiles, and torpedo launchers.
The T-14 Armata tank stands out among other armored vehicles due to its active protection system and uninhabited turret. The combat vehicle is capable of intercepting ammunition, and a powerful new-generation gun and reinforced armor make it effective in any operation.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Tula defense enterprises increased shipments by 50% since the beginning of 2025.
