"Astra Group" and YADRO are joining forces to create a scalable Russian cloud solution that will allow companies and government organizations to switch to secure digital services faster. The project is based on high-performance servers, data storage systems and network solutions from YADRO, ensuring reliability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Astra Cloud is developing its infrastructure, focusing on Russian technologies. The partnership with YADRO provides access to advanced hardware solutions, including VEGMAN R220 G2 servers, TATLIN.UNIFIED GEN2 storage systems and KORNFELD network switches. The first phase of the project involves the deployment of 300 servers, two storage systems and 38 switches, with subsequent scaling to thousands of pieces of equipment.
We are building a cloud where everything is under control — from the hardware level to the operating system and services level. In conjunction with YADRO, we offer the market a reliable, secure and fully Russian alternative to Western platforms.
Among the key products available in Astra Cloud:
- RuPost — secure mail server,
- Astra Disk — corporate file storage,
- Termidesk — desktop virtualization platform.
This approach eliminates the need for companies to deploy their own facilities, reducing the time to implement digital solutions.
Together, we are creating a market in which customers can be confident that everything from hardware to software and services is developed and supported in Russia. This approach allows customers to build both local infrastructures and reliable cloud services on a single technological base, while maintaining a high level of performance and security.
In the future, it is planned to test TATLIN.OBJECT (object storage) and TATLIN.BACKUP (storage system for backups). By QIII 2025, the first phase of the infrastructure will be ready for operation.
Earlier, www1.ru reported on the strengthening of measures for import substitution of software.
