The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) launched the excursion and sightseeing passenger catamaran "Gabion" of project 04710 "Sommers" on July 22. This was reported by the manufacturer's press service.
This vessel became the third in a series of catamarans being built as part of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the tourist and recreational cluster "Island of Forts" and the shipping company "Neva Travel".
Catamarans of project 04710 are designed taking into account the peculiarities of the location of the forts in the waters of the Gulf of Finland and will transport passengers to the forts "Kronslot" and "Emperor Alexander the First", which are completely isolated from the shore, and will be restored and opened to visitors in 2026.

- Speed — 12 knots.
- Passenger capacity — 147 people.
- Displacement — 92 tons.
