The Project 23160 "Cometa 120M" vessel was built at the "Vympel" plant

The passenger hydrofoil "Cosmonaut Pavel Popovich" (Project 23160 "Cometa 120M"), built at the "Vympel" plant in Rybinsk, has been launched on the Sochi - Gelendzhik route. This was reported by the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).

The catamaran "Cosmonaut Pavel Popovich" was handed over to the customer in June 2024. Permission for its operation by the company "Cometa Express" was obtained in 2025.
