AvtoVAZ has resumed production of the updated Lada Niva Legend with a side driver airbag and the ERA-GLONASS system. These elements will now be installed in all trim levels, including the basic Classic.
The first cars with the new configuration will go on sale in September 2025.
Earlier, the production of versions with a side airbag started in 2019, but was suspended due to sanctions restrictions. Now the plant was able to resume production, providing the SUV with important elements of passive safety.
