AvtoVAZ has resumed production of the updated Lada Niva Legend with a driver's side airbag and the ERA-GLONASS system. These elements will now be installed in all trim levels, including the basic Classic.
The first cars with the new configuration will go on sale in September 2025.
Earlier, the production of versions with a side airbag started in 2019, but was suspended due to sanctions restrictions. Now the plant has been able to resume production, providing the SUV with important passive safety elements.
