"Rosseti" to Complete 10 Projects to Improve Donbass Power Grids by Year-End

Emergency situations have already decreased by 30% in the first half of 2025

"Rosseti" plans to complete 10 projects aimed at improving the reliability of the Donbass power grid complex by the end of 2025. This was announced by the company's CEO, Andrey Ryumin.

The implementation of the agreement signed in 2024 was discussed at a meeting with the head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, in Moscow. It is aimed at developing trunk networks and training qualified specialists for the region's energy industry.

Since 2022, "Rosseti" has been carrying out comprehensive work to restore and update the main power grid infrastructure in the Donetsk People's Republic. The company's regional branch is working effectively: the Donbass Main Electric Grids enterprise, including in the direction of practical personnel training

Ryumin added that since the signing of the agreement, major projects have been implemented to modernize substation equipment and power transmission lines. This has led to a significant reduction in emergency situations related to technological problems, by more than 30% in the first half of 2025.
