The «Lastochka» electric train made a test run from Moscow to Voronezh. Railway workers assessed the possibilities of the new route. This is reported by the press service of the South-Eastern Railway.
The train arrived at the Voronezh-1 station. Testing has shown that the journey time may be no more than 5 hours 30 minutes. Railway workers are confident that the new route will be in demand, given the high demand for tickets to Moscow.
The train meets modern safety and comfort standards: it has surveillance cameras installed, an air purification system, and conditions have been created for people with disabilities.
