The «Lastochka» electric train completed a test run from Moscow to Voronezh. Railway workers assessed the capabilities of the new route. This was reported by the press service of the South-Eastern Railway.
The train arrived at the Voronezh-1 station. Testing showed that the travel time could be no more than 5 hours 30 minutes. Railway workers are confident that the new route will be in demand, given the high demand for tickets to Moscow.
The train meets modern safety and comfort standards: it is equipped with surveillance cameras, an air purification system, and conditions have been created for people with disabilities.
