Russian military switched to a new tactics of using heavy flamethrower systems (TOS). Combat vehicles of different modifications began to work together - TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" creates a frontal squall of fire, and TOS-2 "Tosochka" hits targets in the enemy's rear with high-precision strikes.
Sources noted that the wheeled "Tosochka" is much more mobile than the "Solntsepyok" on a tank chassis. This allows crews to quickly change positions, inflict unexpected fire strikes and avoid return fire.
"Tosochka" actively uses more accurate new rocket projectiles, allowing to destroy targets at a distance of up to 15 km.
"Solntsepyoks" burn out fortified areas located directly on the front line. "Tosochka" works on more remote targets. Thus, they divide between themselves the zones of impact on the enemy.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the flagship of the Navy, the cruiser "Admiral Kuznetsov", may be scrapped.
