The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ), a military-industrial holding, has signed a contract with Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar for the supply of spark plugs for the American Cummins engine. This was reported by the concern's press service.
A spark plug is a device for igniting the air-fuel mixture in the cylinders of an engine. To increase the service life of the component, KMZ specialists manufacture it from an alloy of nickel and copper, resistant to wear and high temperatures.
This ensures reliable engine operation, even under heavy loads and in extreme operating conditions.
Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar is responsible for the transportation of natural gas and gas condensate through main pipelines. The company uses an extensive system of gas pipelines with a diameter of up to 1400 mm, as well as powerful compressor and gas distribution stations.
