Mobile operator T2 has announced the launch of unlimited internet traffic for the domestic Max messenger. This was reported by the operator's press service.
This decision was made in connection with the increasing interest of users in the new messenger.
T2 has made Max available without internet traffic restrictions for subscribers of popular tariffs: "My online", "My online+", "Everywhere online", Black, Premium and others. Customers can use the messenger without spending the main internet package and without additional payments.
The first significant increase in the number of Max users was recorded from June 4 to June 5 this year, when the number of active users increased fivefold. This coincided with a report by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation on the development of a new digital platform.
The second peak of interest was observed on June 11, when the number of users increased 16 times compared to May, after the announcement of the creation of a national messenger with the integration of state, payment and commercial services. The third peak was recorded on June 30, when Max reached one million registered users.
Max is a Russian digital platform with a wide range of services (audio and video calls, chats, voice messages, sending large files and money transfers). The platform also includes unique business services in the format of mini-applications and chatbots.
Earlier www1.ru reported that VK's "daughter" willbe responsible for the development of the national messenger based on Max.
