В Rutube обновили инфраструктуру для улучшения доступности видеоконтента

Since the beginning of this year, the video hosting platform has expanded its network to 7,000 servers and 380 CDN servers

Since the beginning of 2025, Rutube, part of Gazprom-Media Holding, has significantly expanded its infrastructure. The video hosting platform has launched 1,500 of its own servers and 250 CDN servers, increasing its presence from 25 to 36 cities in Russia. In total, the video hosting network currently consists of more than 7,000 servers and 380 CDN servers.

The company's technical director, Rostislav Chernakov, noted that they continue to improve the infrastructure to ensure fast and reliable access to the service for users both in Russia and abroad. Rutube servers are located not only in Russia, but also in the CIS countries, as well as in Germany and the USA.

By the end of the year, the network bandwidth will increase from 10 to 15 Tbit/s, which will allow coping with peak loads that already exceed 7 Tbit/s. In addition, the Rutube video storage now exceeds 300 PB and will be expanded in accordance with the growing audience and amount of content.
