Military personnel from the 201st military base of the Central Military District (CMD) have arrived at the Termez training ground to participate in the joint tactical exercise "Khamkorlik-2025" with Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Columns of Ural trucks, BTR-82As, and special equipment based on KamAZ vehicles marched over 300 km. Their route lay in the mountainous terrain of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The personnel overcame ascents and descents on high-mountain roads, as well as narrow sections of mountain serpentines.
The "Khamkorlik-2025" exercises will be held from July 15 to 21, 2025. During the maneuvers, Russian and Uzbek military personnel will practice actions in case of detecting groups of illegal armed formations in border areas. They will also organize the assault and clearing of a settlement occupied by mock militants.
From the Russian side, the exercises will involve mountain and assault units, mobile electronic warfare groups, reconnaissance UAV and FPV drone crews, as well as crews of Mi-24 attack helicopters.
