Фейерверк из 17 вспышек произошел на Солнце за неполные двое суток: вспышечная активность сильно растет

Two M1.4 and M2.3 Flares Occurred on the Morning of July 12

Since July 11, a rapid increase in solar flare activity has been observed on the Sun, as reported by the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the IKI RAS and ISZF SB RAS.

Since yesterday midday, a rapid increase in the number and area of active centers has been observed on the Sun, including on the far side, invisible from Earth, which is currently being observed by the European space apparatus Solar Orbiter. In other words, the increase in activity is global. Since morning, 2 M-class flares, considered strong, have been recorded on the left edge of the Sun. The video shows one of them, ball M1.4, with a maximum at 07:02 Moscow time. The second, with a ball of M2.3, was registered today at 11:34.

Scientists noted that in just under two days, from July 11 to July 12, 17 flares occurred on the Sun, which corresponds to an increase in activity by about three times compared to the average values for July.

Despite the significant increase in flare activity, the current growth has not created direct threats to Earth, which allows us to remain calm regarding possible consequences.

Earlier www1.ru reported that solar flares and magnetic storms will continue until 2027.
