Rosobrnadzor reported that with the help of artificial intelligence technologies, 65 works on the Unified State Exam were identified, the handwriting of which does not match the samples presented in other examination documents. The verification was carried out using a special handwriting analysis, which allows for more accurate detection of possible violations.
All suspicious works were transferred to regional authorities for further investigation. Last year, a similar system detected 39 such cases, which indicates an increase in the effectiveness of AI in education.
In addition to handwriting analysis, since 2020, Rosobrnadzor has been actively using artificial intelligence to monitor violations during exams. A neural network equipped with machine vision technologies processes video recordings from the Unified State Exam centers. This year, the system recorded 803 potential violations, which were subsequently confirmed by moderators.
