The missile boat "R-14" of Project 12411, code "Molniya," of the Pacific Fleet conducted artillery firings in the Sea of Japan and repelled an attack by unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and drones of a simulated enemy. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In the waters of Peter the Great Bay, the missile boat crew performed qualifying artillery firings at sea and air targets, and also repelled an attack by USVs of a simulated enemy.
Also, the personnel of the boat "R-14" fired from a hand grenade launcher at detected simulated saboteurs and destroyed a floating mine.
The armament of Project 12411 "Molniya" includes a launcher for the Igla anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), the RBU-1200 rocket-propelled depth charge launcher, and AK-176M and AK-630M artillery systems.
