Survival Wonders: Russian T-72B3M Tank Withstood Five Kamikaze Drone Hits

The combat vehicle's protection was ensured by a "barbecue grill" and anti-drone nets

The main battle tank T-72B3M of the Russian army has once again demonstrated its survivability. The combat vehicle sustained at least five hits from FPV drones but was immobilized only after running over an anti-tank mine.

The tank has almost all existing improvised means of protection implemented — from dynamic to a "barbecue grill" and nets. Such protection, installed on the Russian armored vehicle, turned out to be capable of a lot.

Similar solutions, such as "barbecue grills," namely additional protection, crudely hung on armored vehicles, making them look like a self-propelled barn or shed, are being used by Russian soldiers on their own initiative.

Т-72Б3М is a modernized version of the T-72B3 tank, which received a new sighting system with a digital display, as well as a television rear-view camera.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Mi-28NM helicopters were equipped with S-13DF vacuum rockets: they will break through a meter of concrete.
