The soldiers fired at moving targets simulating drone attacks from 12-gauge smoothbore guns and Saiga shotguns. The targets were launched for them using special throwing devices, bringing the shooting conditions closer to a real environment.

Fire training instructor Sergei Palin stated that drones have now become one of the main means of warfare. However, military personnel are learning to destroy drones with standard weapons.

Particular attention was paid to individual and group training, firing at moving and suddenly appearing targets from standard small arms – AK-74, AK-12 assault rifles and Pecheneg machine guns.
