An analysis of the Rosgosstrakh client base showed that every tenth car owner in Russia insures two cars under OSAGO at once, and in 70% of cases one of them is a Lada Niva. This SUV is chosen for its high cross-country ability, simple design, reliability and low maintenance costs, which makes it especially attractive for families in regions with difficult transport accessibility.
The most common pair is Niva and Lada Granta. Also in the top are combinations with Lada Vesta, Renault Logan, Kia Rio, Hyundai Solaris and Toyota Corolla. In second place is the combination of the classic Niva with Chevrolet Niva, which emphasizes the continued interest in the model range.
Lada Niva often becomes a "second car" in the family, complementing a more urban sedan. It is chosen for outings to nature, hunting, fishing, as well as for traveling on country roads. The cost-effectiveness of maintenance makes it a practical choice, especially in conditions of a limited budget.
