A train of four universal cross-platform gliding munitions (UMPB) D-30SN was spotted at one of the airfields in Russia.
The photo shows a loader carrying four UMPBs across the airfield. Apparently, the munitions were being taken to a fighter jet before a combat sortie.
The diameter of the UMPB body is 300 mm. The munition is equipped with a satellite guidance system and unfolding wings. The product carries more than 100 kg of explosives.
The cross-platform munition is designed to be launched using the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system and dropped from aircraft. For ground launch, the projectile can be equipped with a rocket engine.
An important element is the Kometa-M antenna, which provides protection of navigation signals from interference, the suppression efficiency of which is reduced by 300 times.
