Oleg Panteleev, Executive Director of AviaPort agency, reminded that the first models of aircraft are always so expensive that it is impossible to sell them even at cost.

In our conditions, the increase in the key rate, inflationary processes, and so on have exacerbated the situation. If the state does not subsidize the supply of new aircraft, they are sold at a loss and only reach an operating profit after increasing the production of aircraft.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the forecast price of the MC-21 aircraft will be 7.606 billion rubles. At the same time, the State Transport Leasing Company in the summer of 2023, without taking into account subsidies from the National Welfare Fund, estimated it at around 4.6 billion rubles.
