Большой брат сможет найти пропавших: система видеонаблюдения с ИИ помогла вернуть потерянных детей в Новосибирске

Facial recognition technologies from NtechLab and Rostec are successfully used to search for people

In the Novosibirsk region, six families were able to reunite with their lost children thanks to an artificial intelligence-powered video surveillance system. Developed by NtechLab and implemented with the support of Rostec, this technology analyzes images from city cameras and compares them with photographs of missing persons.

The Find Face Multi service uses deep learning algorithms to instantly match faces in real time. The recognition accuracy reaches 99.8%, which allows you to quickly detect a person even in a dense flow. To activate the search, parents need to submit an application through the 112 emergency service, and then upload a photo of the child to the system.

So far, the system operates only in the Novosibirsk region, but in the future it may be scaled to other regions. Similar solutions are already being tested in Moscow and St. Petersburg, where AI helps not only in finding people, but also in analyzing urban infrastructure.

Earlier www1.ru reported on the introduction of a similar system in Obninsk.
