С начала года Т2 улучшила качество связи на 14 федеральных трассах, которые проходят через Москву

Experts installed more than 30 base stations and modernized existing facilities

T2, a Russian mobile operator, has improved network coverage on 14 highways passing through Moscow since the beginning of the year. In June, the company completed most of the equipment installation work. By the end of the year, T2 plans to expand coverage to other federal and regional roads.

In the first half of 2025, the company installed more than 30 base stations and modernized existing facilities. As a result, communication became more stable on the Kaluzhskoe, Minsk, Kievskoe, Rublevo-Uspenskoe, Novoryazanskoe highways, as well as on the Moscow Big and Small Rings, the Central Ring Road and the European Route.

The reconstruction also affected the M-2 "Crimea", M-4 "Don", M-7 "Volga", M-9 "Baltia" and M-11 "Neva" highways.

Federal highways are one of the most important construction projects in our company. T2 strives to provide the highest quality coverage throughout the entire route of our customers. Since the beginning of the year, we have been improving communication on highways fully covered in previous years, and also building a network on new sections of roads. T2 will continue to install equipment on federal highways in accordance with the company's development plans.
Andrey Makhankov, Technical Director of the "Moscow" macro-region T2

As a result of the work, T2 improved communication on Moscow highways. The operator has installed modern UMTS and LTE communication standards. Now millions of customers can enjoy high-quality connection.

Earlier, T2 (formerly Tele2) launched Voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology in 23 regions. Eight of them use domestic equipment from STC "Protey".
