Новые российские программы для моделирования ракетных двигателей готовы к запуску

Domestic solutions will help optimize design and reduce costs in the space industry

An important project, as part of which three software products for modeling rocket engines were developed, has been completed in Russia. The created solutions are ready for industrial use and are aimed at improving the process of digital design and optimization of engines for spacecraft.

The created software products include a software package from RFNC-VNIITF called "Logos", a dynamic modeling environment from the company "3V Service" called SimInTech, as well as a platform for automating calculations called DT Seven.

The created programs will expand modeling capabilities: it will be possible to calculate the trajectories of spacecraft, taking into account solar and terrestrial radiation, as well as model complex flows of liquids and gases. Thanks to digital methods, the process of determining the parameters of engines and propulsion systems can be automated, which greatly simplifies the work of engineers.

The libraries of elements used in the programs include ready-made calculation blocks developed for various types of rocket engines. This allows you to create complex models taking into account all the necessary calculations. The programs can be integrated with other systems: the new solutions will easily interact with existing programs, which allows you to include engine models in larger systems, such as aircraft.

The introduction of these software solutions will significantly reduce the costs of production, preparation of the test base and the time required for conducting fire tests. This will improve the quality of engine development and reduce their cost.

According to the Keldysh Center and Roscosmos, the new software products have been successfully tested and are ready for mass production and implementation at enterprises of the rocket and space industry in Russia.
